Abstract
These Regulations amend the Fisheries (South-East Area Commercial Fishing) Regulations, 1986.
Amendments have been made to regulation 11N dealing with the restriction in the taking of eels. A new regulation 11Q has been inserted to restrict the taking of eels commercially in relation to the specified areas of Lake Benmore and the Rangitata Lagoon. The Schedule sets out further minor amendments which have been made to the text.
