Abstract
These Regulations shall apply to commercial fishers taking or possessing any fish under a permit within the Southland and Sub-Antarctic fishery management areas.
These Regulations make provision for the following: minimum net mesh sizes; fishing gear and fishing methods; areas in which it shall be prohibited to set nets; restrictions on the taking of rock lobsters, oysters and shellfish; areas in which it shall be prohibited to fish; seasonal restrictions and quotas; and for offences and penalties.
