Abstract
The Food Safety Law Reform Act 2018 makes several amendments to the Food Act 2014, Animal Products Act 1999, and Wine Act 2003.
In regard to Food Act 2014 it amends Part 1 and introduces Part 3A (Tracing, recall, and verification) where it strengthens food recalls and improve risk-based plans and programmes. Animal Products Act 1999 gets amended to what concern animal product standards and Part 6A is inserted and relates to tracing recall and verification. infringement offences are also regulated. Under the the Wine Act 2003 Subpart 4 is added to Part 2 with discipline concerning recalls, verification and tracing, and record keeping.
