Forest and Rural Fires Amendment Act, 1996.

Various definitions listed in section 2 of the principal Act have been amended or substituted. Section 7A is repealed. Amendments have been made to sections 4(2)(b), 13, 14, 23, 25, 30, 39, 43, 45, 46, 48, 49, 51, 56 and 61 dealing with fire officers, the National Rural Fire Authority, permits to light fires, levy for costs of fire fighting.
