Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the importation into New Zealand, the exportation, the manufacture, and the sale of certain ozone depleting substances and goods.
The Regulations further provide for: the issuance of import permits for bulk methyl bromide and HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons); rules relating to exemptions granted by the Minister in respect of substances determined by the Parties of the Montreal Protocol; offences and penalties; etc.
