Abstract
This Regulations implement the Social Security Act 2018 and provides for grant of social assistance to the nation including for the jobseekers, youth payment, child assistance, disability assistance, and medical support. Part 4 of the Regulations provides for factors affecting benefits, alternative arrangements, and excluded beneficiaries. Part 5 outlines sanctions and offences and Part 6 Provides for administration. The text further provides for reviews and appeals, contracts for services, and authorised agencies. The Regulations consists of 295 Articles divided into 8 Parts and has 8 Schedules.
