Ministerial Decision No.281 of 2003 amending Ministerial Decree No. 249/97 issuing the Regulation on the Control and Management of Radioactive Substances.

This Regulation amends the previous Regulation of 1997 by: 1.modifying the name of the competent ministry in Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment and Water Resources; 2.specifying in art.16 that the entry of the radioactive substances in the Sultanate is permitted only by air and that the internal transport is allowed only on the road; and adding article 28 relating to the offences for those who break the rules of the Law.
