Abstract
This Decree issues the Regulation on the Control and Management of Radioactive Substances.
The Regulation establishes procedures and requirements to obtain permits for the import, storage or use of radioactive substances or materials. It also regulates the working conditions of workers in contact with radioactive substances. The world ranking and the radiation dose limits should be applied to the packaging of type “A” and “B”. The packaging and the transport of radioactive substances should respect the regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The Ministry regulates the norms regarding the storage and the disposal of these substances.
