Abstract
This Decree amends the Implementing Regulation of the Law on Marine Fishing and Protection of Living Aquatic Resources by setting conditions for obtaining diving licenses to catch abalones in Oman.
It also regulates applications to obtain licenses for trading, processing and storage abalone and establishes minimum size, season, methods for fishing and record rules. The Decree declares also protected areas where is prohibited abalone fishing.
