Abstract
This Regulation is composed of 8 Chapters divided into 51 articles. Chapter I deals with terms and definitions. Chapter II provides for fishing licences in particularly: (a) prohibition to fish before obtaining the necessary licence from the Competence Authority; (b) the Competent Authority shall issue marine fishing licences, vessel fishing licences, living aquatic wealth trade and amateur fishing licences; (c) requirements and conditions necessary for the issuance of the aforementioned licences; and (d) the Competent Authority defines licence-forms and documents. Chapter III defines lince's fees. Chapter IV deals with the following matters: protected species; fishing seasons; fishing methods and gear; fishing and non fishing areas; prohibited equipment and gear; hygiene requirements and conditions for the conservation of fish; and general conditions for the establishment of industries and laboratories in the vicinity of the internal waters and fishing waters. Chapter V regulates fishing; gear and methods; fishing areas and prohibited fishing area; nets; ornamental fishes; and requirements for fish breeding and mariculture. Chapter VI refers to the conservation, circulation a and marketing of living aquatic wealth. Chapter VII contains general provisions. Chapter VIII contains offences and penalties.
