Ministerial Decree No.270/2015 amending some provisions of the Regulation of the Law No.53/81 on fishing and the protection of living aquatic wealth.

This Resolution consisting of 3 articles aims at: prohibiting fishing through the use of cages without authorization from the competent authority; the use of cages in coral reef sites, areas of mangroves, bays and their entrances, fixed net sites, fishing ports and protected marine sites.
The Resolution establishes also the distance in miles from the beach and the depth to use the cages and specifications and rules to be met.
The authorization specifies the annual number of cages per boat and fishing vessel.
