Abstract
These Regulations consisting of 4 articles introduce updated definitions and regulations, particularly regarding the preparation and certification of shipments related to veterinary quarantine. The new provisions emphasize the importance of complying with international standards for animal vaccinations (Clause 2 of Item II, Article 15: Animals must be vaccinated using a vaccine that meets the standards set by the International Terrestrial Animal Health Code, issued by the World Organization for Animal Health), food safety, and product preparation (Clause 4 of Article 17: The products must be prepared, processed, and packaged in factories that meet the requirements of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) system and the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, under the supervision of veterinary health authorities in the exporting country). Additionally, shipments must now include a "Catch Certificate" to ensure proper documentation and traceability. Certain outdated provisions have been repealed to align with current practices.
