Abstract
This Resolution amends the Regulation of 1994 and establishes that the institutions and companies working in the field of fish trade, marketing and exportation shall adjust their conditions, in accordance with the provisions of this amendment. Article 14.b prohibits to fish lobsters with nets, spears, or any other equipment or means, except for cages for which it indicates the specifications. Article 14.h states that individuals, institutions and companies in possession of large quantities of lobster must register such quantities within 30 days from the end of the fishing season at the Fisheries Development Departments at the Ministry and the Governorates. The following two types of licensing are added to article 3 (1) lobster fishing license and (2) license for processing, circulation and export of unshielded lobster (meat or tails). The details of these two new licenses are in paragraphs 7 and 8 added to article 4. The costs of the two new licenses are added to article 9. To article 14 is added a paragraph providing that it is not permissible to import lobsters, except after obtaining a license from the competent authority, according to the form prepared for this purpose, and including specific data, provided in the article.
