Abstract
This Regulation prescribes rules for fising in an area as defined by the Torres Strait Treaty. The Regulation implements various sections of the Fisheries (Torres Strait Protected Zone) Act of 1984 regarding the granting of fishing licences, the marking of licensed fishing boats and the issuance of a log book by the Departmental Head to the master of each licensed fishing boat and factory ship.
