DENR Administrative Order No. 2004 - 29. Revised Rules and Regulations for the Implementation of Executive Order 263, Otherwise Known as the Community Based Forest Management Strategy.

This DENR is regulated further to policies of the government for protection and advance the right of the Filipino people to a healthful environment and improve their socio-economic conditions. The Order implements principles of social equity, sustainable and community participation in forest management and biodiversity conservation. The Community-Based Forest Management (CBFMS) shall apply to all forest lands, integrate and unifies all people-oriented forestry programs.The participation in CBFMP shall be by the local communities as represented by their organisations referred as People’s Organisations. Implementation of the CBFMP shall be undertaken through 4 stages including preparatory stage, the PO formation and diagnostic stage, the planning stage and the implementation stage. This Order consists of 42 Articles and refer to the scope, coverage and key programs participation and implementation and management of CBFMP.
