Abstract
This Ordinance regulates the cultivation of rice in order to control the water-logging, salinity, seepage and resultant damage to land in the province of the Punjab.
The Board of Revenue may, by notification, prohibit or impose restrictions on the cultivation of rice in such areas as may be specified in the notification.
The Ordinance further provides for rule making powers of the Board of Revenue and for penalties.
