Abstract
The Act defines new functions pertaining to the Minister of Agriculture and to regional fishery inspectors, resulting from implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1984/2003 introducing a system for the statistical monitoring of trade in bluefin tuna, swordfish and bigeye tuna within the Community and Council Regulation (EC) No. 1035/2001 establishing a catch documentation scheme for Dissostichus spp. The Act specifies all new types of statistical documents which shall be accepted by the Minister.
