Abstract
This Act amends 19 points of the Act on products of animal origin and, in particular, establishes properties of the authorities of Veterinary Inspection concerning official control of products of animal origin as specified in the Regulation (EC) No. 882/2004 and control of provisions of the Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000. Products of animal origin can be marketed only if were obtained from animals which: (1) meet veterinary requirements specified in provisions on the protection of animal health and eradication of animal infectious diseases; (2) were fed with fodder meeting requirements specified in provisions on feeding stuff. Products of animal origin must not be obtained from animals coming from farm, enterprise or area being the subject of restriction, prescription or prohibition applied to the given type of animals or products, issued on the basis of provisions on the protection of animal health and eradication of animal infectious diseases.
