Abstract
This Act lays down principles of protection of agricultural and forest land, recultivation and improvement of land quality. Agricultural lands are protected by: limitation of their allocation for other purposes; prevention from degradation and devastation; recultivation; and preservation of peat areas and natural water reservoirs. Forest lands are protected by: limitation of their allocation for other purposes; prevention from degradation and devastation; restoration of land value; and prevention from reduction of productivity. The present Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Limitation of allocation of land for non-agricultural and non-forest purposes (Sec. 2); Excluding the land from agricultural or forest production (Sec. 3); Preventing land degradation (Sec. 4); Recultivation and use of land (Sec. 5); Revenue relating to the exclusion of agricultural land from the production (Sec. 5a); Control of implementing provisions established by this Act (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
