Regulation on detailed requirements for the production and quality of seed material.

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of 16 paragraphs and four Annexes, lays down: (1) deadlines for submitting applications for field evaluation of seed material of the elite or qualified category; (2) requirements for the production and quality of seed material of the elite or qualified category (provided in Annex 2); (3) methods of field evaluation, sampling and laboratory assessment as well as assessment of the varietal identity of seed material of the elite or qualified category (Annex 3); (4) requirements for soil where seed of the elite or qualified category growns, as well as the conditions and methods for sampling soil; (5) the scope of documentation regarding the identification and monitoring of critical points (Annex 4). The description of categories and levels of qualification is specified in Annex 1.
