Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of eight articles and two Annexes, establishes: (1) maximum levels of harmful elements in extraction solvents; (2) the list of substances and materials allowed as extraction solvents for food production; (3) conditions of use of extraction solvents; (4) maximum residue limits of extraction solvents in foodstuffs or food ingredients; (5) detailed requirements relating to marking of extraction solvents. The Regulation shall not apply to extraction solvents used in the production of food additives, vitamins and other nutritional additives, unless such food additives, vitamins or nutritional additives are specified in par. 5 or par. 6.
