Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development lays down the detailed measures to be taken to prevent the introduction into and the spread of the bacteria Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. Sepedonicus which is the cause of potato ring rot, and includes: (a) methods of fighting against and preventing the spread of this bacteria; (b) methods of identifying this bacteria; (c) ways of determining zones where the measures should be applied; (d) conditions of production, marketing, transport, storage, purchase and sale of potatoes. The present Regulation establishes also the document certifying that bacteria was not found in potatoes transferred to other European Union member countries.
