Abstract
This Law lays down the principles of: protection of plants against harmful organisms and organization of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection. The Inspection performs observations and controls of plants, plant products or objects in order to determine the occurrence of: (1) harmful organisms of particular threat, not yet present in the territory of the Republic of Poland or occurrence of which is not widely spread; (2) harmful organisms widespread. The present Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Protection of plants against harmful organisms (sect. 2); Marketing authorization of plant protection products and authorization of an active substance for the use in plant protection products (sect. 3); Marketing and use of plant protection products (sect. 4); The State Plant Health and Seed Inspection (sect. 5); Legal liability (sect. 6); Changes in valid provisions, transitional and final provisions (sect. 7).
