Regulation on natural habitats and species of Community interest, and criteria for selection of areas eligible for recognition or designation as the areas of Natura 2000.

The present Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of seven paragraphs and three Annexes, establishes natural habitats and species of Community interest, including priority natural habitats and species and those requiring special protection. This Regulation also lays down criteria for selection of areas eligible for recognition as the areas of Natura 2000 and designation as special areas of the protection of habitats and areas of special protection of birds. The types of natural habitats as defined above are specified in Annex 1. Annex 2 contains the list of animal species and Annex 3 the list of plant species of the Community interest.
