Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of nine paragraphs, lays down: (1) types of remedial actions, as well as conditions and methods to conduct them for damages to protected species or protected natural habitats or waters; (2) conditions and methods of remediation for damage to the environment in the surface of land. Three types of remedial actions are defined: basic, supplementary and compensating. The basic remedial actions are carried out first. They should cause restoration of the initial or approximate state in the shortest possible time. Supplementary remedial actions are carried out in a way which ensures the achievement of a similar state of elements or their functions as would be ensured by basic remedial actions. Compensatory remedial actions are carried out in a way ensuring compensation of losses incurred in the period from the occurrence of damage in the environment to the restoration of the initial or approximate state, or to achieve a similar state of natural elements or their functions.
