Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development lays down requirements for integrated protection of plants which includes all actions and methods of plant protection against harmful organisms, including first of all the use non-chemical methods, and in particular: (1) the use of crop rotation, time of sowing or planting, or plant density, to minimize the occurrence of harmful organisms; (2) the use of agricultural technology to minimize the occurrence of harmful organisms, including the use of the mechanical protection of plants; (3) the use of varieties resistant or tolerant to harmful organisms and seed produced in accordance with the provisions on seed; (4) use of fertilizers, irrigation and liming to minimize the occurrence of harmful organisms; (5) cleaning and disinfection of equipment, packaging and other items to prevent the occurrence and spread of harmful organisms; (6) protection of beneficial organisms and creation of conditions conducive to their occurrence, in particular the pollinators and natural enemies of pests.
