This Regulation of the Minister of Scientific Research and Information Technology is composed of 25 paragraphs and one Annex. Members of the State Ethics Committee for Experiments on Animals are appointed by the Minister competent at scientific research affairs. The Regulation specifies the organizations and institutions which may propose candidates to the State Committee. The State Committee appoints local ethics committees for experiments on animals. Local committees act in particular as university or inter-university committees.
