Decree-Law No. 105/2001 creating the Water Institution 'Águas do Norte Alentejano, S. A.'.

This Decree-Law creates the Water Institution 'Águas do Norte Alentejano, S. A.'. It consists of 5 Chapters establishing the composition and duties of the aforementioned institution, whose main objective is the exploitation of water resources and the management of the multi-municipality system of water supply within the northern Alentejo Region; including: captation, supply and treatment for water uses within the following municipalities: Alter do Chão, Arronches, Avis, Campo Maior, Castelo de Vide, Crato, Elvas, Fronteira, Gavião, Marvão, Monforte, Nisa, Ponte de Sor, Portalegre and Sousel.
