Abstract
This Decree-Law is composed of three Chapters divided into 18 articles and five Annexes. Its aim is to improve marine environment by introducing protection measures and monitoring against pollution. The Decree-Law envisages the formulation of marine strategies and an action plan. Special attention is paid to regional cooperation and to standards control.
