Decree-Law No. 175/2015 establishing potato quality standards for human consumption.

This Decree-Law, consisting of 17 articles and 2 Annexes, sets out the definitions, names, quality requirements, labelling rules and forms of packaging to be complied with potatoes for human consumption from the species Solanum tuberosum L. and its hybrids to be sold and consumed fresh, with the exception of preserved potatoes for industrial processing. This Decree-Law applies to all potato marketing phases for human consumption and establishes the respective penalties for illegal activities.
