Abstract
This Decree-Law regulates sport fishing oriented to any marine, plant or animal species performed within oceanic, inland and maritimes waters or within inland non-maritime waters under the Portuguese jurisdiction. It consists of 4 chapters establishing: General provisions (defining involved sectors, chap. 1); Fishing Regulation (providing for restrictions and licensing requirements, chap. 2); Controls and enforcement (to be performed by competent Fisheries General Control Service, chap. 3); Final provisions (chap. 4).
