Abstract
This Decree-Law, consisting of 14 articles, creates the National Forestry Council (CFN). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned consultative body in forestry sector. This Council is entitled to deal with: national forestry policies, their protecting measures and main instruments of implementation; the structure and operation of the Defense System of Forest Fire (SDFCI); the designing of strategies for prevention and forest pest control, as well as on the implementation of control of harmful biotic agents to forest species programmes; the development of measures of general principles of planning and management of hunting resources and inland water fishing; the dynamics of markets and the valuation of forest products, etc.
