Abstract
This Decree-Law regulates the maritime transport of wastes. It is composed of 13 articles and 1 annex dealing with the requirements to be satisfied in the transfer of wastes and residues from and to EC harbours. It also establishes competent authorities to carry out controls on such activity and prescribes taxes to be paid by involved entities and sanctions for offenders.
