Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes sanitary procedures for treated meat products destined to human consumption. It consists of 7 articles and 4 annexes specifying the sanitary requirements to be satisfied for producing and placing on the market meat and other products originating from animal (listed in annexes A-E). It defines requirements for meat production, (listing all the animal parts involved by this legislation, sanitary requirements for meat infrastructures, labelling/packaging, meat marking, storage and transport, etc.).
