Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes sanitary requirements for hunted wild animal species and their placing on the market. It consists of 9 articles and 3 annexes establishing the aforementioned sanitary requirements to be met by wild animal meat and by food treatment centres; the competent authority entitled to carry out control and manage the said sector is the Institution for Agriculture and Food Protection and Production (IPPAA). Annex B lists sanitary conditions to be satisfied by such food treatment centres (storage, transport, etc.). Annex C concerns veterinary and sanitary police certificate.
