Decree-Law No. 99/97 approving the Statute of the Wine Institution.

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the Wine Institution. It consists of 7 chapters and 1 annex establishing composition, duties and competencies of this plant institution entitled to promote, research, manage and control oenological sector within the territory of Portugal. The Statute is divided as follows: Institution definition and competencies (chap. 1); Composition and services (chap. 2); Functioning (chap. 3); Financial management (chap. 4 and 5); Personnel (chap. 6); Final provisions (chap. 7).
