Decree No. 8/98 regulating the Natural Park of 'Douro Internacional'.

This Decree regulates the Natural Park of 'Douro Internacional'. It consists of 18 articles and 3 Annexes concerning the purposes of the aforementioned protected area, such as: conservation and management of the natural wildlife heritage by the preservation of biodiversity and sustainable exploitation of species, habitats and ecosystem; improvement of quality of life according to wildlife conservation; planning and regulation of recreational activities within the region. This Natural Park is governed by the Institution of the Wildlife Conservation - ICN (composition, duties and competencies specified in the text).
