Abstract
This Law, composed of 7 articles divided in 6 Chapters, institutes the Municipal Commissions for Forest Fires Defence. These Commissions shall act as coordinating bodies for all local actions, defending municipal forests from fires and promoting their implementation. The Law regulates their main functions and composition. Finally, it extinguishes the following Commissions set under the Decree-Law No. 327/80: special Commissions for Forest Fires (CEFF) and Special Commissions for Municipal Forest Fires (CEFF).
