Abstract
This Decree-Law provides for the prevention and detection of forestry fires. It consists of 16 articles establishing the policy to be applied in order to prevent forest fires, in particular planning to avoid fires within the so called "forest critical areas". It shall carry out a research programme on climatic changes, weather dangerous periods, etc. Sanctions for illegal activity are specified in the text.
