Abstract
This Law, consisting of 10 Chapters and 5 Annexes, regulates distribution, selling and application of pesticide products for professional use and defines inspection to be carried out. This Law transfers for internal legislation EU Parliament Directive No. 2009/128, establishing a Community framework for a sustainable use of pesticides for agricultural development, through the reduction of risks and effects of its use on human health and on environment, promoting the integrated protection or technical non-chemical alternative to pesticides while possible. It specifies the requirements to be met in order to fight plant diseases according to EU Parliament Directive No. 2009/128.
