Order No. 166/2019 approving the Statute of the Institute for Nature and Forestry Conservation (ICNF, I. P).

This Order approves the Statute of the Institute for Nature and Forestry Conservation (ICNF, I. P.). The enclosed Statute, consisting of 15 articles, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Institute. The internal organization of the ICNF services, I.P., consists of central organic units and the territorially decentralized services entitled to cover the following sectors: a) Department for Administrative and Financial Management; b) Department of Management and Training Systems; c) Department of Policies, Planning and External Relations; d) Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity; e) Department of Management and Forestry Valorization; f) Department of Management of Forestry Public Areas; g) Department of Financial Instruments and Investment Support; h) Department of Rural Fire Management. The territorially decentralized services of ICNF, I. P., the Regional Directorates for Nature and Forestry Conservation of the North, the Center, Lisbon and Tagus Valley, the Alentejo, and the Algarve, have the following organic units: a) Regional Department of Nature and Biodiversity Conservation; b) Regional Department of Forestry Management and Valorization.
