Abstract
This Order, consisting of four articles, establishes that vessels licensed to fish with hooks in the southern zone defined in paragraph c) of article 11 of the Trawl Fishing Regulations, approved by Ordinance No. 1102-E/2000, of 22 November, are subject to following constraints: a) Fishing is authorized six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, for vessels registered in local fisheries and five days a week, from Monday to Friday, for vessels registered in coastal fisheries; b) Only one daily trip can be made between 6 am and 3 pm, except between 1 June and 30 September, months in which the activity is authorized between 5 am and 2 pm; c) Until the end of December 2017, the capture, keeping on board and landing of grooved razor clams (longueirão) and razor clams (Ensis siliqua and Pharus legumen) are prohibited.
