Order No. 195/2017 establishing the critical period for the Forest Fire Protection System.

This Order establishes that in the year 2017, the critical period under the Forest Fire Protection System, runs from 22 June to 30 September. Under the Forest Fire Protection System, approved by Decree-Law No. 124/2006, which provides for a set of measures and actions of institutional coordination, planning and intervention related to the prevention and protection of forests against fire, in the aspects of the compatibility of planning instruments, forestry, infrastructure, surveillance, detection, combat, post-fire surveillance and surveillance, to be carried out by public entities with expertise in the defense of the forest against fire and private entities in the forestry sector.
