Order No. 344/2016 approving the Regulation of the Fund for the Sea Management.

This Order approves the Regulation of the Fund for the Sea Management ('Fundo Azul'). This Regulation, consisting of 37 articles divided into four Chapters, establishes the composition, duties, rules and procedural matters for managing the above mentioned Fund, created by Decree-Law No. 16/2016. The the support provided for in this Regulation is intended to contribute to the development of the marine economy, to promote scientific and technological research in this field, to promote the protection and monitoring of the marine environment and to enhance maritime safety. The Regulation is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Functioning (Chap. II); Regime of supports (Chap. III); Final provisions (Chap. IV).
