Abstract
This Order approves the Regulation of the Support Regime for Sustainable Development of Aquaculture. This Regulation, consisting of 22 articles and 3 Annexes, establishes the Operational Programme (OP) Mar 2020 for mainland Portugal in the areas of Innovation, Counseling and Productive Investment, under the European Union's priority established by EU Regulation No. 508/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and the framework provided for in Articles 47, 48 and 49. This Regulation aims at developing the innovation and management, relief and counseling of the support provided in order to improve the following sectors: aquaculture enterprises, technological development, innovation, reduction of the impact of activities on the environment and transfer of knowledge to improve respective competences, performance and competitiveness.
