Abstract
This Order establishes the third amendment of the implementation regime of operations 8.1.1 «Forestry of agricultural and non-agricultural land», 8.1.2 «Installation of agroforestry systems», 8.1.5 «Improving the resilience and environmental value of forests», and 8.1 .6 «Improving the economic value of forests», included in action 8 (Sustainable forestry), of measure 8 «Protection and rehabilitation of forest settlements» of the Mainland Rural Development Programme (PDR 2020). Amendments deal with administrative and legal proceedings; new definitions and requirements, as well as widening of the assistance granted on the basis of the standard unit cost tables and the readjustment of the available appropriations, with the reinforcement of the operation 8.1.5. In addition, it establishes that planned supports, including loss of income and maintenance premiums and other support for action 8.1. «Sustainable forestry» of the PDR 2020 can be combined, subject to the following conditions: a) Eligible investment up to a limit of EUR 2 million per ZIF or waste; b) Eligible investment up to a limit of 2 million euros for public entities and collective forest management entities; c) Eligible investment up to a limit of EUR 1 million for other beneficiaries.
