Abstract
This Order, consisting of 49 articles divided into eight Chapters and twelve Annexes, establishes the implementation regime of operations 8.1.1 «Forestry of agricultural and non-agricultural land», 8.1.2 «Installation of agroforestry systems», 8.1.5 «Improving the resilience and environmental value of forests», and 8.1 .6 «Improving the economic value of forests», included in action 8 (Sustainable forestry), of measure 8 «Protection and rehabilitation of forest settlements» of the Mainland Rural Development Programme (PDR 2020). The support provided pursues the following objectives: a) promote the afforestation of agricultural and non-agricultural land; b) promote the creation of agroforestry systems; c) promote the adaptation of forests to climate change and mitigation of their effects and the rehabilitation of stands in poor vegetation conditions; d) promote the economic value and competitiveness of wood and non-wood forest products.
