Regulatory Decree No. 9/2002 approving the Water Management Plan of the Mondego River Basin.

This Decree regulates the water management and use of the Mondego River Basin. The plan is composed by 6 parts specifying all the activities to be performed in the aforementioned area, such as: water captation for agricultural, domestic and other purposes; water pollution control in order to preserve the water quality also for human consumption, etc. The aim of this Decree is to regulate a short-term programme until 2006 (renewable until 2020).
