Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 33/2004 on the International Tejo Natural Park.

This Resolution rules on the preparation of the Development Plan of the International Tejo Natural Park. It sets the general aims to be followed by the plan, such as: an effective strategy for the conservation and management of the Park, the conservation of wild fauna and flora protected natural habitats, the equilibrium between protection and valorisation of the natural resources of the area. It establishes the competence of the Institute for Nature Conservation for preparing the Park’s Development Plan which shall cover also the municipalities of Castelo Branco and Idanha-a-Nova. The Resolution implements the Decree-Law No. 380/99 by defining the composition of the Coordination mixed commission and indicates the deadline for the completion of the International Tejo Natural Park Development Plan.
