Abstract
In section 3 ‘export’ is redefined and in section 4 a provision which prohibits the making of false or misleading statements regarding the export of fish. Section 9 which prescribes penalties for the violation of provisions of section 4 is completely rewritten. A distinction between civil penalties and criminal penalties is made. In section 7 is inserted a clause which requires the Minister for Resources and Development to issue Regulations which set out procedures to certify species as cultured.
